PTO COMMITTEES
As a PTO, we rely on the volunteers and the generosity of parents to give our school and children the best start in life through education and activities that build community. Some of our committees and events are for fun, some are educational, but they all enrich Tootin' Hills School community and set us apart. We are ALWAYS in need of volunteers & your help. Coordinates with 6th grade parents to compile the yearbook for our graduating class.

Cultural Enrichment Committee sponsors 2-3 cultural performances throughout the school year across all Simsbury Elementary Public Schools.

PARENT REPRESENTATIVE

Creates a Welcome Basket with local community and school information for new families that arrive during the school year. Communicates with teachers and staff to create a Holiday Wishlist.

GOLDEN TICKET FUNDRAISER

Oversees the Golden Ticket (a/k/a Chocolate Bar Fundraiser) including recruiting volunteers to help wrap the bars in their Tootin Hills wrapper, track purchases, distribute bars and facilitate prizes.

A long-standing Tootin’ Hills community outreach tradition collaborating with ImmaCare (the Immaculate Conception Men’s Shelter in Hartford). Includes deli sandwich making for 4-6th graders, and running Donation Drives.
